For the renovation of the listed monument, it was not only necessary to make an inventory for monument preservation purposes in advance but also to maintain continuous coordination with the conservation authorities during the entire period of the project. The façades and the roof were comprehensively overhauled.

In particular for the façade in Sendlinger Strasse, a new overall picture was created for the façade elements after weighing the requirements from the new retail trade usage and the landmark-protected substance. This new image links the original design with the modern requirements.
