On the outskirts of Sendling, a Munich suburb, on the threshold of the impressive park landscape of the Westpark, the design takes up the typological properties of this part of the city in an original manner: three large, multi-unit buildings are compacted to form a courtyard-like but open figure. The resulting building lines and spaces are similar to the surrounding properties. But in contrast to the adjacent sites, the interiors are informal courtyards with public access through large archways and gaps between the buildings. They thus create a permeable urban transition between the Park and Sendling.
