Together with students from the Faculty of Architecture at OTH Regensburg, our partner Andreas Müsseler researches vacancy and transformation in rural contexts. Using the municipality of Tännesberg as a case study, the project developed concepts for working with existing buildings and activating vacant structures in the town centre. A topic that strongly informs our work beyond everyday practice: converting, continuing to build within the existing fabric, and thereby developing the built environment sustainably.
The regional broadcaster Oberpfalz TV recently featured the project and the exhibition opening in its magazine programme.
